This weekend George Michael has ended his 25Live Tour in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The tour began in Barcelona, Spain on September 23, 2006 and was originally to be ended at Wembley Arena in London, England in December, but — due to great feedback from fans — continued into 2007 providing more gigs in large arenas and stadiums throughout Europe. In 2008, George went on to tour North America with 25Live, came back again to Europe to play his final shows in London and ended the tour at Copenhagen's Parken Stadium on August 30, 2008. With his two-year 25Live Tour - which was described as 'a celebration of his 25-year career in music' - George has entertained around 1.5 million fans across Europe and North America.
George Michael plays 'The Final Two' shows - 08/25
George Michael played his last arena shows in London. His Earls Court concerts were billed as The Final Two — a nod to Wham!’s The Final at Wembley Stadium — although dedicated fans will be in Copenhagen for another last chance to wave goodbye on Saturday. George has said he wants a “quieter life”.
At the second Earls Court show he said: “It’s been an amazing, amazing, amazing ride but there have been so many moments when the compromises have seemed too huge and I just felt...I have spend the last two years working out that every single fucking bit of aggro is worth it - for this.” "So thank you for that, I really do"
“Thank you for 25 amazing years,” said Michael.

George Michael plays 'The Final One' in Denmark - 07/28
Everybody expected 'The Final Two' concerts in London to mark the end of George Michael's 25Live tour in the United Kingdom as well as worldwide, but it turns out that George has yet another surprise in store as a thank you to his loyal fans, not only in Scandinavia, but also across Europe. George Michael will play a concert in Denmark on August 30th 2008. The concert which will be at the Parken stadium in Copenhagen is titled 'The Final One' and will be the last of George's two-year worldwide tour.

After his staggering success across Europe, George Michael has kicked off the first date of his career retrospective tour 25Live in North America, at the San Diego Sports Arena in California. The performance was his first in North America in 17 years.

George Michael announced today that he is to play 2 special concerts at Earls Court on 24th and 25th August to mark the end of his 25 Live Tour that started in Barcelona in September 2006.
Having spent the last 20 months entertaining over 1.3 million fans across Europe with a 49 date 25 Live Tour, followed by a 30 date 25 Live Stadium tour — which incorporated a spectacular opening of the newly built Wembley Stadium - Michael will continue to thrill audiences as he ventures to North America to perform his extraordinary show this summer!But, not one to overlook his dedicated British fans, and as his way of saying thank you, Michael will return to London to end his tour with two exclusive, filmed, concerts at Earls Court entitled THE FINAL TWO which is a nod to his sell out Wembley Stadium show, 'THE FINAL' with Andrew Ridgeley in 1986 when he brought the curtain down on Wham! These very special shows will naturally feature Michael's hits, some tracks not previously performed in Britain, and a stunning new stage set. Extra concert for Anaheim, CA. - 05/13
George Michael has announced that he will add another date to his North American tourschedule. He will perform in Anaheim (California) on June 27th 2008 at the Honda Center. The fanclub presale starts May 14, public sale starts May 18.
As a result of adding this date to the 25 Live tourschedule we can conclude that George Michael will not perform in London to celebrate Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday, "The 46664 Concert".

George has teamed up with iTunes and Ticketmaster to produce an innovative media package which allows fans rare access to George's videos (like 'I'm Your Man' live @ Wembley), songs, and tickets to one of his North American 25 Live concerts. The package went on sale on iTunes on March 25th. Tickets to the 25 Live tour will go on sale to the general public the weekend of April 5th and after.
